Chairman

John Blythe

​John Blythe is Chairman of JED Pharma and brings extensive leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry. He was previously Managing Director of Rosemont Pharmaceuticals, where he led the business through its successful sale to Perrigo in 2013.

Prior to becoming Managing Director, John held the role of Sales and Marketing Director at Rosemont, with responsibility for all sales, marketing and customer service activities across the UK and international export markets.

Throughout his career, John has actively contributed to the wider pharmaceutical sector, representing Rosemont through the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, the British Generic Manufacturers Association  and the Association of Pharmaceutical Specials Manufacturers.

Managing Director

Eddie Townsley

Eddie Townsley is Managing Director of JED Pharma and brings over 40 years of experience within the pharmaceutical sector. Prior to joining JED Pharma, Eddie spent much of his career with Pinewood Healthcare, including over 30 years as Export Sales Director.

Eddie has extensive experience in global pharmaceutical markets, leading international sales growth while also holding responsibility for contract manufacturing operations and strategic partnerships.

Throughout his career, Eddie has held senior leadership positions including Board Director, with additional responsibility across key operational areas including production, supply chain and research & development.

Quality & Regulatory Director

Liz Sullivan

Liz is Quality and Regulatory Director at JED Pharma and brings extensive technical and leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry. A Qualified Person, Responsible Person, Chartered Scientist and Chartered Chemist, Liz has specialist expertise across quality, regulatory compliance and pharmaceutical operations.

Prior to joining JED Pharma, Liz spent over 30 years with Pinewood Healthcare. During this time, she led quality functions across Quality Assurance, Quality Control, validation, microbiology and contract manufacture, while also fulfilling QP and RP responsibilities.

Since 2019, Liz has provided consultancy services to pharmaceutical companies, including QP responsibilities on manufacturing authorisations, bringing a wealth of knowledge and regulatory expertise to support pharmaceutical operations and compliance.

Secondary Care Director

Jurgen Wegner

​Jurgen Wegner is Secondary Care Director at JED Pharma and brings over 20 years of commercial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining JED Pharma, Jurgen was Head of the Secondary Care Division at Pinewood Healthcare, where he led the Medical, Pharma and Biosimilar business units.

As part of Pinewood Healthcare’s senior leadership team, Jurgen played a key role in developing and delivering the strategic direction of the business, with responsibility for driving growth across specialist healthcare markets.

Jurgen has extensive experience in leading high-performing sales teams, successful product launches and new business development. He holds a BA in Business and an MBA.

Finance Director

John Owens

John is Finance Director and Company Secretary at JED Pharma, bringing over 30 years of financial leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining JED Pharma, John spent more than two decades in finance at Pinewood Healthcare.

Throughout his career, John has developed extensive experience in financial management, business operations and strategic planning, supporting growth and decision-making within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

As part of the senior leadership team at JED Pharma, John provides financial direction and corporate governance oversight, playing a key role in supporting the continued development and growth of the business.

Retail Director

Dan o'riordan

Dan is Retail Director at JED Pharma and brings extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and business growth within the Irish healthcare market.

Prior to joining JED Pharma, Dan held senior leadership roles with Pinewood Healthcare. During his time here, Dan played a key role in establishing and growing the company’s pharmacy, dialysis and hospital divisions, helping position Pinewood as a market leader across key sectors.

Dan has held Board Director positions and brings additional strategic experience gained through more than 10 years as a consultant within the pharmaceutical industry.

National Retail Sales Manager

Andrew Boyle

Andrew brings over 30 years’ experience in sales, including an extensive career with Diageo. He has significant experience in customer relationship management, business development and leading sales teams.

His commercially focused and collaborative approach helps ensure customers receive responsive, practical support.

As National Retail Sales Manager, Andrew leads JED Pharma’s community pharmacy sales team and supports the development of strong, lasting customer relationships throughout Ireland.

Product Operations & HR Manager

Elizabeth Curran

Elizabeth brings a broad, hands-on background supporting complex business operations across product operations and HR.

Her role spans a range of responsibilities, requiring adaptability, sound judgement, and the ability to connect people, processes and priorities across the organisation. 

​In her role at JED Pharma, Elizabeth provides practical oversight and continuity, helping ensure the business runs smoothly day to day.

Secondary Care Territory Manager

Kathleen Duffy

Kathleen has over 16 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning primary and secondary care, retail, and hospital pharmacy, with responsibility for hospital pharmacies across the northern half of the Republic of Ireland and retail pharmacy in the North West.

She combines deep sector knowledge with a highly people-focused approach, bringing clarity, collaboration, and credibility to her work with stakeholders across healthcare.

Kathleen holds multiple degrees, including an MSc in Marketing, and was elected MRII President for 2024–2025, reflecting her leadership within the marketing profession.

Retail Territory Manager

John Mccabe

With almost 20 years of experience in the FMCG and pharmaceutical sectors, John has a strong track record in building trusted customer relationships and delivering consistent commercial results. 

His collaborative approach and commitment to service have made him a valued partner to clients across retail and pharmacy settings. 

As Territory Manager for the West and South West of Ireland, John brings a professional, solutions-focused mindset to supporting customers and growing the business. 

Inside Sales Executive

Anne pHELAN

Bringing over 20 years’ experience in B2B sales, account management and customer service, Anne has worked across the FMCG, media and technology sectors.

Anne has extensive experience in building strong customer relationships, solution selling and supporting clients across domestic and international markets.

As an Inside Sales Executive, Anne supports JED Pharma’s community pharmacy customers and works closely with the wider retail team.

JAMIE THACKABERRY

Covering the East of Ireland, Jamie brings a fresh perspective and a strong sense of dedication to his role on the retail pharmacy sales team. 

While newer to the pharmaceutical industry, he has quickly earned the trust of customers through his professionalism, reliability and personable approach. 

Jamie's enthusiasm and strong communication skills make him a valued colleague and a key part of our continued growth. 

Inside Sales Executive

hANNAH Maloney

Hannah brings broad experience across telesales, sales administration, demand planning, marketing and customer service.

Her background includes managing customer relationships, processing orders, analysing sales and supporting product availability in fast-paced commercial environments.

As an Inside Sales Executive, Hannah supports JED Pharma’s community pharmacy customers and works closely with the wider retail team.
